SOLID WOODEN BOWLS
Solid wooden bowls were among the many utilitarian items made by the early Shaker craftsmen for the "kitchen Sisters". Shaker bowls were hand turned from solid blocks of clear solid hardwood. Ours are produced in clear solid beech wood on the original 19th century equipment. The quality is uniformly excellent. Bowls are sanded, then finished with non-toxic mineral oil. Made in USA.
To extend their useful service in your kitchen, it is a good idea to renew the oil finish on all your wooden bowls and utensils once or twice a year. You may want to consider purchasing our Woodenware Care Kit (see link below).
