SHAKER HANGING SHELVES
Shaker dwellings and shops abounded in utility shelves of various designs. This useful example was made in the mid-19th century. Kit includes metal hangers for attaching the shelves directly to a wall and leather thongs for hanging them from pegboard - both methods are traditional.
We make the Hanging Shelves in clear Eastern white pine. Shelves measure overall 27" wide x 25" in height. The individual shelves are approximately 5", 6", and 7" deep. Shown in Medium Stain with Lacquer Finish. Please select the stain of your choice (below).
Available as an unfinished kit, a "ready to ship" finished piece, and a "made to order" finished piece.
Shaker Pegboard specially cut to accommodate our Hanging Shelves is available separately. Clear Eastern white pine, 3 1/2" wide, with beautifully beaded edges. 36" long, with 5 pegs. Shown in New England Red paint.
