MEXICAN TERRA COTTA NATIVITY
These bright and bold nativity figures, as well as the pottery manger, are created by award-winning Mexican sculptor, Gerardo Ortega. Each nativity set is an original work of art because Ortega forms them free-hand and individually paints them. In the Mexican tradition, Baby Jesus is kept hidden until Christmas Eve. Manger measures 13 1/2" wide x 6 3/4" deep x 7 1/2" overall height. Figures range from 3/4" to 4" high. Each one is signed by the artist. Handmade in Mexico.
