PAINTED TERRA COTTA NATIVITY
This Nativity is produced in the green hills of Umbria near Assisi, where St. Francis is said to have designed the first Nativity at the end of the 12th century. The stable is richly detailed inside and out. The figures are molded from clay and individually hand painted. Stable measures 13" wide x 9 1/2" high; other pieces range from 1 1/4" to 4" high. Made in Italy.
