PUPPET NATIVITY
Puppet figures dressed to represent the nativity became popular in Hungary and Poland in the mid-18th century. Carollers would carry portable theaters from house to house on Christmas Eve. Today, they remain a wonderful way to teach children the nativity story. Hand painted wooden faces, brightly colored fabric costume. Figures are 11" high on wooden dowels. Complete with wooden bases for display. Made in Poland.
