SHAKER WALL CLOCK

"The clock is an emblem of a Shaker community because everything goes on time," wrote a Shaker elder in 1887. This elegant example, the work of Brother Isaac N. Youngs of New Lebanon, New York, was designed for use either on a wall or on a shelf. It is now in the collection of the Groton, Massachusetts Historical Society. We make the case from clear Pennsylvania cherry, with a pine back. With painted wooden dial, accurately reproduced hands, quartz-regulated pendulum movement (guaranteed 6 years), and round glass. Shaker Wall Clock measures 13 1/2" wide x 4" deep x 20 1/4" high. Shown in Oil & Wax Finish.

Available as an unfinished kit, a "ready to ship" finished piece, and a "made to order" finished piece.

Kit is supplied with Oil Finish, rather than stain, to bring out the natural color of the cherry wood.
