CHERRY RECTANGULAR MIRROR
The Millennial Laws, which were the rules governing every aspect of the Shakers' life together in community, specified in 1845 that looking glasses ought not to exceed 18" x 12". Larger mirrors were brought into Shaker villages many years later.
We make the Rectangular Mirror in a solid cherry frame that can be hung vertically or horizontally. The frame measures 24" x 32". The mirror glass itself is a full 1/4" thick. Shown in Oil & Wax Finish.
Available as an unfinished kit, a "ready to ship" finished piece, and a "made to order" finished piece.
Kit is supplied with Oil Finish, rather than stain, to bring out the natural color of the cherry wood.
