HANCOCK SEWING STAND
Dating to about 1830, this unique stand was made at the Hancock, Massachusetts Shaker community. The top and drawer are supported by a precisely-cut dovetailed yoke. The drawer is dovetailed both front & back and is accessible from either direction. We make this stand in solid clear Pennsylvania cherry. Height is 26". Top measures 21" wide x 17 3/8" depth. Shown in Oil Finish. Made in USA.
Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
Kit is supplied with Oil Finish, rather than stain, to bring out the natural color of the cherry wood.
