HANCOCK SHAKER SEWING STAND
Dating to about 1830, this unique stand was made at the Hancock, Massachusetts Shaker community. The top and drawer are supported by a precisely-cut dovetailed yoke. The drawer is dovetailed both front & back and is accessible from either direction.
We make the Hancock Sewing Stand in solid clear Pennsylvania cherry. Height is 26". Top measures 21" wide x 17 3/8" depth. Shown in Oil Finish.
Available as an unfinished kit, a "ready to ship" finished piece, and a "made to order" finished piece.
Kit is supplied with Oil Finish, rather than stain, to bring out the natural color of the cherry wood.
When ordering "Finished-Made to Order", you may select Oil Finish or the stain of your choice (see below).
