NEW LEBANON SHAKER CANDLE STAND
Our classic Shaker tripod stand, with arched or "spider" legs, was made at the New Lebanon, New York community circa 1830 - 1840. The arched legs are precisely dovetailed into the gracefully turned pedestal. The original is in the collection of Hancock Shaker Village in Massachusetts.
We make this Candle Stand in solid clear cherry, like the original. Height is 25 1/2". Top diameter 18". Shown in Oil & Wax Finish.
Available as an unfinished kit, a "ready to ship" finished piece, and a "made to order" finished piece.
Kit is supplied with Oil Finish, rather than stain, to bring out the natural color of the cherry wood.
