SECOND FAMILY CANDLE STAND
The Shaker Millennial Laws (1845) directed that "one or two stands" should be provided for the occupants of every bedroom. This delicate example, with its slender tapered shaft and crescent shaped feet was made in the Second Family at the New Lebanon, New York Shaker village. We make this in solid cherry, like the original. Height is 25 1/4". Top diameter 16". Shown in Oil & Wax Finish.
Available as an unfinished kit, a "ready to ship" finished piece, and a "made to order" finished piece.
Kit is supplied with Oil Finish, rather than stain, to bring out the natural color of the cherry wood.
