"Painter" Furniture Kits
While these kits are structurally the same as our regular kits, we cannot sell them as first quality because they have dark mineral streaks, small chips (which can easily be filled), or other cosmetic defects. These Shaker Workshops furniture kits will look perfect if painted. They are a very good value for people who like their furniture painted or stained a dark color. Stain is not included with this kit.
This chair neatly exemplifies the Shaker's sense of practicality - it was designed with a low two-slat back so that it could be tucked under the table after mealtime. Its lightweight, sturdy construction and space-saving size make it perfect for use in the kitchen or dining room, next to the telephone, or in front of a dressing table. Made of rock maple.
