SHAKER PINWHEEL HOOKED RUG
According to oral tradition, all the hooked rungs used in Shaker communities were made by the Shakers themselves. Our colorful hooked rug with its pinwheel design in the center is adapted from an exceptional late 19th century rug discovered at the Canterbury, New Hampshire Shaker community. It is hand hooked from 100% wool on a cotton burlap backing. Imported. Available in two sizes.
