Ordering and Shipping Information
To Order
SHAKER TAPE
We now price and sell our Shaker tape by the yard. When ordering, enter the total amount of yards needed for a given size and color in the "quantity" box and click on "add to cart". While we seek to minimize the number of splices in your order, they will invariably occur over longer lengths. If you are ordering a longer run of tape and would like it cut in increments--for example, if you are ordering a total of 40 yards and would like it cut into two, 20 yard lengths--feel free to request this in the notes section provided at checkout. We will do our best to accomodate such requests.
Wondering how much tape you need to order? We've prepared a yardage calculating guide to help you out! We recommend you order in 5 yard increments, rounding up so that you do not accidentally run short. Please note that the appearance of colors online may vary substantially based on your browser and display settings. We are glad to provide a sample sheet of our colors by request.
SHAKER KITS
For those items which require a wood selection, that choice will be required before an item may be added to the cart. Chair, stool, and bench kits will also require the selection of tape color(s) for your seat, as well as a tape width depending on the pattern you are going to weave the seat in.
FINISHED PEGBOARD
Wood and/or finish selections will be required before an item may be added to the cart. The finish images below are provided for reference, but please note that actual hues (and variations within the given hue on a piece) will vary from these images, not only based on the unique nature of wood as a natural product, but also on your web browser settings. From left to right (top to bottom in mobile view): natural maple, medium stain, mahogany stain, ebony stain, natural cherry, aged cherry stain.

Payment
All prices are in US Dollars. Online orders require a credit card to be processed. In-person orders may be made by cash or check as well. In general, payment in full, including shipping charges, is due at the time of order. As furniture which is made to order often has a lead time over four weeks till shipment, you have the option with such items (instead of ordering online) of contacting us by email or phone to request an invoice to place a minimum 50% deposit to book your order. When the order is ready, the balance and any shipping charges will be due before the order is released for shipment.
Sales Tax
New Hampshire has no sales tax.
Shipping and Delivery
We normally ship orders for Shaker tape and foam within 3-5 working days from receipt of your order. We will notify you of any delay of over 5 days.
Pegboard orders typically have a lead time of 4-6 weeks from the time of order to shipment.
Kits typically have a lead time of 4-8 weeks until shipment, and assembled and finished furniture typically ships 12-18 weeks from the date of order.. We will notify you of any delay beyond that time. Please know that we work our hardest to reduce lead times, but would prefer to quote longer times rather than find ourselves disappointing you with missed deadlines.
We order our Genuine Shaker Herbs and Teas once per week from the Community. You can expect your herb or tea purchase to ship within 7 - 14 business days of order.
Larger finished furniture will usually ship via a "white glove" furniture delivery service. This service is of professional caliber, and will hand deliver your blanket-wrapped pieces at a time scheduled with you, and remove and take away all packing materials. This service may add an additional number of weeks to final delivery from the time at which your order is ready to ship, based on your location and the shipper's schedule (we will keep you regularly informed of the estimated delivery timeline). At our discretion, we may choose to ship some smaller finished items such as chairs and side tables via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. In such a case, delivery timelines are usually somewhat faster, averaging 1-2 weeks from the time of shipment. All shipments are insured.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ALL DELIVERIES
When you receive your order, it is your responsibility to inspect the packaging of each item for signs that its contents may have been damaged during shipment. Do not sign for or accept any delivery that appears to have been damaged--if you do, our ability to accept your return or file a claim against any insured value may be affected, and in any case it will lengthen the time substantially that it will take to resolve the issue to everyone's satisfaction. We want to to have your order as soon as possible, but not if it's damaged!
