Shaker Foot Stool - unassembled and unfinished kit
Copied from an example made for sale in the Second Family chair shop at the Mt. Lebanon, New York Shaker community, this sturdy little stool serves ideally as either a footstool (in front of a Shaker rocker) or as a child's stool.
We make this Foot Stool in hard maple. Height of seat is 10". Width is 10" x 13". Shown assembled in an oil and wax finish; woven in 1" Navy Blue chair tape in a checkerboard pattern.
This item is an unassembled and unfinished kit. All physical components to make this as a project are included along with instructions, however, you will be required to provide the necessary sandpaper, glue, and finish--as well as be reasonably comfortable with your own skills to obtain a satisfactory result.
