A HISTORIC NEW OFFERING!
Our newest faithful reproduction of this No. 4 rocker manufactured by the Mt. Lebanon Shakers for sale to the "World's people", produced in the latter half of the 19th century under Brother Wagan's direction. Measured directly from our recent finds of these two historic pieces in Vermont (pictured).
We make this No. 4 Shawl Back Rocker in hard maple, like the originals. Height of back 34". Height of seat 15". Seat width 19-1/2". Seat depth 18". Overall depth with rockers 30". Please note all dimensions are approximate.
Available to order in a natural oil and wax finish, or in any of our traditional stained and lacquered finishes for maple. The historical pieces shown are finished in a medium stain (lighter) and mahogany stain (darker), of which our modern finishes are excellent representations.
