Ordering and Shipping Information

 To Order
SHAKER TAPE
We now price and sell our Shaker tape by the yard. When ordering, enter the total amount of yards needed for a given size and color in the "quantity" box and click on "add to cart". While we seek to minimize the number of splices in your order, they will invariably occur over longer lengths. If you are ordering a longer run of tape and would like it cut in increments--for example, if you are ordering a total of 40 yards and would like it cut into two, 20 yard lengths--feel free to request this in the notes section provided at checkout. We will do our best to accomodate such requests.

Wondering how much tape you need to order? We've prepared a yardage calculating guide to help you out! We recommend you order in 5 yard increments, rounding up so that you do not accidentally run short. Please note that the appearance of colors online may vary substantially based on your browser and display settings. We are glad to provide a sample sheet of our colors by request.

SHAKER OVAL BOXES, CARRIERS, AND TRAYS
We are excited to again make our Shaker oval boxes, serving trays, and carriers available. We will be taking pre-orders for our Spring 2023 production run through the end of February, with production to follow. First shipments are then anticipated to begin in late March, in the order in which orders are received. We also expect to be able to offer a Fall production run, with pre-orders becoming available in September and deliveries in time for the Holidays.

When ordering below, please select the size that you would like, mark the quantity, and then click "add to cart". If you wish to order multiple sizes, please repeat this process for each size.​

SHAKER KITS
For those items which require a wood selection, that choice will be required before an item may be added to the cart. Chair, stool, and bench kits will also require the selection of tape color(s) for your seat, as well as a tape width depending on the pattern you are going to weave the seat in. 

FINISHED PEGBOARD AND FINISHED FURNITURE
For those items which require wood and/or finish selections, those choices will be required before an item may be added to the cart. The finish images below are provided for reference, but please note that actual hues (and variations within the given hue on a piece) will vary from these images, not only based on the unique nature of wood as a natural product, but also on your web browser settings. From left to right (top to bottom in mobile view): natural maple, natural cherry, aged cherry stain, mahogany stain, ebony stain.

Chairs will further require the selection the of a tape color for the warp (front to back for a chair seat, and top to bottom for a chair back) and the weave (side to side), as well as a weave pattern.  ​​

Payment 

All prices are in US Dollars. Online orders require a credit card to be processed. In-person orders may be made by cash or check as well. In general, payment in full, including shipping charges, is due at the time of order. As furniture which is made to order often has a lead time over four weeks till shipment, you have the option with such items (instead of ordering online) of contacting us by email or phone to request an invoice to place a minimum 50% deposit to book your order. When the order is ready, the balance and any shipping charges will be due before the order is released for shipment. 

Sales Tax
New Hampshire has no sales tax.

Shipping and Delivery
For tape, foam, pegboard and kit orders, shipping is now calculated at checkout based on the estimated weight and cubic volume of your order. Rates shown are based on USPS First Class/Parcel Select and Fed Ex Gound rates with a small percentage markup to cover our shipping materials and labor. We may at our discretion substitute a faster service, such as USPS Priority Mail, Fed Ex Ground, or UPS Ground at no additional charge to you, unless you specifically request otherwise.

Currently we only offer direct shipping within the United States. If you are interested in ordering from an international destination, we have had several customers report an excellent experience with MyUs.com. MyUs.com is a service which allows you to sign up and then order per usual on our website. You then use a shipping address in the US which they provide, and upon receipt of your order there, they prepare your order for international shipping and send it on its way. We have found it to in many cases be less expensive and faster than had we shipped international directly. 

We normally ship orders for Shaker tape and foam within 3 working days from receipt of your order. We will notify you of any delay of over 5 days.

Pegboard and pegshelf orders typically have a lead time of 3-5 weeks from the time of order to shipment.

We are excited to again make our Shaker oval boxes, serving trays, and carriers available. Currently, we expect kits to have a lead time of 4-8 weeks, and assembled and finished furniture to ship 12-18 weeks from the date of order.. We will notify you of any delay beyond that time. Please know that we work our hardest to reduce lead times, but would prefer to quote longer times rather than find ourselves disappointing you with missed deadlines.

Larger finished furniture will usually ship via a "white glove" furniture delivery service. This service is of professional caliber, and will hand deliver your blanket-wrapped pieces at a time scheduled with you, and remove and take away all packing materials. This service may add an additional number of weeks to final delivery from the time at which your order is ready to ship, based on your location and the shipper's schedule (we will keep you regularly informed of the estimated delivery timeline). At our discretion, we may choose to ship some smaller finished items such as chairs and side tables via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. In such a case, delivery timelines are usually somewhat faster, averaging 1-2 weeks from the time of shipment. All shipments are insured.

All customers are welcomed to save on both sales tax and shipping expenses and pick up their order when it is ready at our shop in Center Sandwich, NH. We are approximately two hours from Boston, 1.5 hours from Portland, ME, 4 hours from Albany, NY and New Haven, CT, and 2.75 hours from Burlington, VT.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ALL DELIVERIES
When you receive your order, it is your responsibility to inspect the packaging of each item for signs that its contents may have been damaged during shipment. Do not sign for or accept any delivery that appears to have been damaged--if you do, our ability to accept your return or file a claim against any insured value may be affected, and in any case it will lengthen the time substantially that it will take to resolve the issue to everyone's satisfaction. We want to to have your order as soon as possible, but not if it's damaged!
