Lebanon Shaker Bench - unassembled and unfinished kit
Architects and other design professionals frequently consult Shaker Workshops to solve their clients' seating requirements. The result of one such project was this adaptation of the classic Mt. Lebanon Shaker stool. Proportioned for comfort in areas where space is tight - such as hallways, living and family rooms, andbedrooms.
We make the Lebanon Bench in hard maple. Its seat is higher than our other benches (18"), its overall length a bit shorter (36"), but its depth is a generous 17 1/2".
Shown with a hand-rubbed oil and wax finish; woven in 1" Navy Blue chair tape in a checkerboard pattern.
This item is an unassembled and unfinished kit. All physical components to make this as a project are included along with instructions, however, you will be required to provide the necessary sandpaper, glue, and finish--as well as be reasonably comfortable with your own skills to obtain a satisfactory result.
