Adjustable Music Stand - unassembled and unfinished kit
The Shakers developed their own system of musical notation, composed over 10,000 works of music, and even invented (in 1871) a new instrument called the piano-violin. However, only one original music stand is known to exist. We have designed a music stand which can be used while either seated or standing. It adjusts in height from 41" to 54". The tilt of the music rest also adjusts into any of three positions.
We make the Music Stand in solid clear cherry. Desk measures 17 3/4" wide x 11 1/2" high. Shown in natural cherry with an oil and wax finish.
This item is an unassembled and unfinished kit. All physical components to make this as a project are included along with instructions, however, you will be required to provide the necessary sandpaper, glue, and finish--as well as be reasonably comfortable with your own skills to obtain a satisfactory result.
