The Shakers used pegboard in nearly every room. They used it to hang coats, hats, brooms, and even chairs while the room was being cleaned. Pegboard is 3 1/2" wide, and is available in solid cherry (for both board and pegs), or pine board with maple pegs - both with beautiful beaded edges. Holes are bored 6" apart. Shown in natural cherry with Oil and Wax finish.
When selecting finish options, please note that aged cherry stain is applied to cherry pegboard, and that medium, mahogany, and ebony stains are applied to pine pegboard.
